Tablet vs Laptop

Technology continues to explode into society with new tools, programs and gadgets appearing on the shelves everyday. The latest attraction are tablets such as the iPad. The question is should people turn in their standard laptop for the smaller touchscreen pads? What are the top touchscreen computer tablets and Laptop computers  available right now? And many other direct tv questions.

Top Tablets-

The iPad and iPad 2- the iPad is Apple’s tablet. It’s designed with key features such as Facetime, HD Recording, a 10 hour battery life, a backlit display screen, the newest touch screen technology for easy maneuvering, and runs on the iOS 4 operating system.

The Blackberry Playbook- the blackberry playbook runs on dual processor, has a front and rear facing camera, 7in LCD screen, and multi-tasking features.

Samsung Galaxy Tab- The Galaxy Tab runs on Androids 3.0 system and used a dual core processor, it has both a rear and front facing camera, has 3G capabilities, it has a 10.1in LCD screen that is compatible to others.

Motorola Xoom- The Xoom has a 10.1 inch LCD screen, it runs on the Android 3.0 system, has a front and rear facing camera, it also comes equip with a  light sensor and a proximity sensor.

Apple MacBook Pro Winter 2011- The Pro Winter has a 15 inch screen and runs on the second generation Intel core i5, has an excellent battery life and a variety of features that haven’t been avaliable on other laptops. Also has the option for the Thunderbolt upgrade.

Toshiba Portege R835-P56X- the Portege has an 13 inch screen and runs on Intel i5 processor system. It has a long lasting battery and sleek design. The Portege also is reasonably priced.

There are many different kinds of Laptops and Tablets but what is the right choice for you. Tablets are by far more portable and have easy to use features for web browsing, reading, picture taking, gaming and more. One of the main problems with Tablets is using them for work. For jobs that require a lot of typing and email managing the tablet might not be your best option. While page maneuvering is much easier on a tablet typing is somewhat of a hassle. With the layout of the keyboard divided onto three pages you will probably spend some time searching for a character.

Depending on what you are going to use your device for will determine what will work best for you. Both devices have great features that will help you manage activities and work projects.
